For Posterous, you just have to create a Posterous account and simply follow the http://digitalstorytellingevo2013.posterous.com/
Once you have a Posterous account, you can post to the evostorytelling space via email - with a slight delay, because one of the mods has to "approve" your post.
That's how Posterous works, you are editor of your own space, which is created when you join, you can invite other people as editor of your own space, or you can can set it to "accept posts via email after approval"

Hi, all I too tries to join the space and it showed the message "oh noes something went wrong".

It seems that posterous has just been swallowed by Twitter. This could be the reason for the problems in signing up, and for no help at the moment. Let's just hope they are busy fixing the problem :P

Not possible to open a Posterous account for me either. Is there a place where the Edmodo code group was mentioned, sorry I couldn't find it.

Eva said

Hi,
Posterous didn't work for me at first but then I managed to work there. Edmodo group code is pl5dme

The same here. I have been trying to create an account for three days. The minute I click on Sign In or try to join spaces from the Digikids Posterous page I get a warning "Oh noes! Something went wrong.".

Hello! When clicked on the Edmodo link. How should I register to join the Digikids group?? How do I know I've joined?
Do I need a code???

anisoara pop said

at 12:14 pm on Jan 13, 2013

Tasoula, if you already have an Edmodo account, you should just sign in and then on the left in the menu bar you have the Join button. Click on it and you will be asked for a code: pi5dme.
If you do not have an account you have to register - Join as a teacher or student and don't forget the group code.

Anisoara, thanks for the advice but the problem is that though I followed the steps for an account I can only see some parts from the page . I see only home and library etc and my profile and account. And when I click on home I don't get the menu bar or whatever I saw on a webinar video.

Hi Tasoula,
Just wait to be approved. Only one of us can approve your membership. It can take a few hours because of the time zones. meanwhile you can check the sandbox, 1st week tasks.

For everyone who are having problems with posterous, we have great news!!!
Just email your 321 introduction to " digitalstorytellingEVO2013@posterous.com " as instructed on the wiki http://digitalstorytelling4kids.pbworks.com You do not need to have an account on Posterous to be able to post it there (the mods will approve your post, then it will be viewed on the site)
Looking forward to reading your 3, 2, 1 introductions. Check the sandbox, or choose one of your fave app or tool and create a new story :)

Hello Eva!
Would you please tell me what the 321 introduction is. I'm having problems editing in the wiki of participants, I need your help.

Shelly S. Terrell said

at 7:38 pm on Jan 14, 2013

No need to join the wiki or Posterous. You only need to join Edmodo and send an email with your 321 introduction.

You don't have to follow or even join Posterous. Just email your 321 intro as listed here http://digitalstorytelling4kids.pbworks.com/w/page/47970204/Week1#Task2Days15321IntroductionIntroduceYourselfampGettoKnowOthers

I am sure I am overlooking something but.....I can't seem to post to the 321 Intro. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

IllyaC said

Hi LaQuita
I don't know if you've already been helped out, but the easiest way to send it to your intro to: digitalstorytellingEVO2013@posterous.com
You won't see it immediately since it has to be approved first.
Good luck!!

Hi everyone
I just came across this website and think it may interest anyone who uses apps:
I really like the idea of sock puppets!
I haven't tried any out as I've only just stumbled across it, but would be interested if anyone tries them out.

Hi, I've just received an approval to join and participate. I'm glad to be here!
I'm not sure if I have got an 123 intro, but I have commented on others. Is that enough?

Anastasia121 said

If I don't have an account at Posterous, I can't comment on intros, and should I again e-mail to add creaza story there?

Eva said

at 3:49 pm on Jan 17, 2013

Hi, You don't have to register to post on posterous, email your creaza to digitalstorytellingEVO2013@posterous.com Your post will be published once it is moderated.

The discussion is really exciting and there are many many wonderful works, great ideas. My God it is becoming just impossible to read and comment on everybody´s work. Well, today is Safer Internet Day and I´d like to share a link with you. Don´t forget to read the Digiduck story, it is really nice. Here´s the link:

Digiduck story is great! I am going to read it with my younger students and discuss it using Voicethread. Thanks to you I've learnt about Safer Internet Day.
Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone, I just created a little story using Glogster! It is dedicated to my daughter for Valentine's Day since she is my little Hero and my Valentine too. Although she is 9, She inspires me to achieve my craziest dreams and supports me at all times and makes my life worthwhile. I hope you enjoy my Glog! This session has been an absolutely fantastic experience for me to realise the potential of digital storytelling. As my research interest is in the area, I have learned so much from our wonderful moderators and awesome participants in terms of the tools and their application in the classroom. So Thank you so much!
